How does it work?

EMSCULPT NEO is based on an applicator that simultaneously emits synchronized RF and HIFEM+ energies.

Due to this radiofrequency heating, the muscle temperature quickly rises by several degrees. This prepares the muscles for stress exposure, similar to a warm-up activity before any workout. In less than 4 minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches levels that cause apoptosis, i.e., fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies showed, on average, a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.

Bypassing the brain’s limitations, HIFEM+ energy contracts the muscle fibers at intensities that are not achievable during a voluntary workout. Extreme stress forces the muscle to adapt, increasing the number and growth of muscle fibers and cells. Clinical studies showed, on average, a 25% growth in
muscle volume.

Along with improving muscle tone and burning fat, EMSCULPT NEO is a revolutionary treatment that can also be used to help treat Diastasis Recti. In a clinical study, EMSCULPT NEO demonstrated a reduction in diastasis recti by 19%. EMSCULPT NEO offers the first non-surgical method for improving this condition which typically affects women after pregnancy.

It’s common for the 2 muscles that run down the middle of your stomach to separate during pregnancy. This is called diastasis recti, or divarication.

The amount of separation can vary. It happens because your growing womb (uterus) pushes the muscles apart, making them longer and weaker.

Around 33 to 66% of pregnant women will have diastasis recti at the end of their pregnancy.

During pregnancy, the muscles of the abdomen weaken, which enables the stomach to stretch. Normally the abdomen will strengthen and return to normal shortly after pregnancy.

Typically, it takes about eight weeks for the stomach muscles to shrink back down and for your stomach to flatten. With Diastasis Recti however those muscles don’t shrink back down, and it can look as though a woman is still pregnant.

CoolSculpting is a procedure that freezes fat on targeted parts of the body, then the body attempts to remove that frozen dead fat over the next 4-6 weeks. Patients of CoolSculpting have reported bruising in the area, swelling and redness, pain and stinging throughout the course of treatment, aching, and skin sensitivity.

Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia is a rare complication of CoolSculpting, and a noteworthy risk. It is an overgrowth of fatty tissue that appears as raised, lumpy fat deposits in the area of treatment. This complication, which can appear 8 to 24 weeks post-procedure, is when the treated area becomes hardened and visibly enlarged, it does not go away with further treatment, diet, or exercise! The only way to correct this condition is with liposuction as corrective surgery.

EMSCULPT NEO attacks fat in two different ways simultaneously. It uses Radio Frequency (RF) heating to melt fat, making it easier for your body to remove the destroyed fat cells, and uses High-Intensity Focused Electro-Magnetic (HIFEM) energy to build muscle, without adverse side effects, pain, or downtime.

The delivery of these two treatments, simultaneously in 30-minute sessions, makes EMSCULPT NEO, unlike any other device in the world. Since more muscle increases your metabolism and the calories your body burns, and if you keep your diet and exercise constant, remaining fat cells will starve and shrink.
